As a reminder of where we have been, we have posted a gallery of covers from the world's first international multimedia online newspaper, News In Motion, which was published by WalkSoft Corp. It debuted in June of 1993 at PC Expo in New York City, and was published weekly from July 1993 until the end of 1995. It was published daily in conjunction with MCI mail in 1996. News In Motion was both a stand-alone publishing solution and a electronic multimedia newspaper. It was ultimately killed by the emergence of the World-Wide-Web. News In Motion was created by Todd Chronis, who is a founder and principal software architect at ArchWise, LLC. Some of the other very talented people involved include Terry Maguire, Dan Fien, Caroline Garnaat, Julius Hamelberg, Frank Marino, Gedeon Maheux, Bill Colgrove and Joe Cordaro. |
